Quokka Island Terms of Service

Effective date: September 28, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Cozy Island Games ("we", "us") about playing Quokka Island ("the game"). By playing, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't play.

For parents and younger players

Anyone can play Quokka Island. If you're under 18 (or under the age of majority where you live), a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you, and should read them with you.
Parents are responsible for purchases made by their children. Buying leaves is always optional. Before a player under 13 can buy anything, the game shows a question for grown-ups (a parental gate), and Google Play's Family Link purchase approval also applies to supervised accounts.
Our Privacy Policy explains what information the game collects and the rights parents have.

Your account

The game creates an account for you automatically. You can link Google Play Games to keep your island on a new phone. If you don't link it, your island may be lost if you uninstall the game or lose your phone.
One account per person. Don't share, sell or transfer accounts.
The game needs an internet connection to play.

Leaves and items

Leaves are the game's only currency. You earn them by playing, by choosing to watch ads, or by buying leaf packs, and spend them in the game (for example to finish tasks faster or on leaf shop clothing).
Leaves and items are a limited licence to use them in the game. They have no real-money value, can't be exchanged for money or anything outside the game, and can't be transferred to other players.
Everything in the game can be earned by playing. Buying leaves is optional.
We may adjust how leaves and items work to keep the game fair and fun. We won't take away items you bought without a good reason (such as fraud, a refund, or a breach of these terms).

Purchases

Purchases are made through Google Play and follow Google Play's terms and refund policy. Refund requests go to Google Play: support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637. If you're in the EU or UK, you agree that leaves are delivered straight away, which means the 14-day right to cancel ends once they're delivered (this doesn't affect your other rights, for example if something doesn't work).
If a purchase is refunded or charged back, we may remove the leaves or items it gave.
If something you paid for doesn't arrive, contact support@cozyislandgames.com with your account ID (Settings → Account) and the Google Play order number.

Ads only appear when you choose to watch one for leaves. The ads you see follow the rules for your age group (see the Privacy Policy).

Fair play

Don't cheat, hack or modify the game, use bots, exploit bugs, interfere with our servers, or try to get leaves or items in ways the game doesn't intend. We may reset progress, remove leaves or items, or suspend accounts that do.

The game can change

We update the game over time and may add, change or remove features. We may also need to stop running the game; if we do, we'll give at least 30 days' notice in the game.

Ownership

The game and everything in it (art, characters, music, code) belong to Cozy Island Games or our licensors. You may share screenshots and videos of your island for non-commercial purposes.

Disclaimers and liability

The game is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it running, but can't promise it will always be available or free of bugs. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time (Settings → Account → Delete account, or cozyislandgames.com/delete-account). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Unused leaves are lost when an account is deleted or closed.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the date above and tell you in the game when the changes are significant. Continuing to play after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, except where the law of the country you live in gives you protections that can't be changed by agreement.
